In a recent interview with the editor of Kitchen & Bathroom News; Heritage Bathrooms’ General Manager David Savage and Marketing Manager Kaouther Montacer-Shivlock, discuss their somewhat unusual move to halve the number of their retail accounts and plans to reduce even further. Allowing them to offer better communication and sales support to their remaining retailers and ultimately, ‘create an intimacy with the customer’ and present a much improved purchasing experience.
Part of this new support system provided by Heritage Bathrooms has included the involvement with Virtual Worlds; this is what they had to say about that partnership: …one of the latest sales support tools has been the company’s investment in the Virtual Worlds’ CAD software with all Heritage Bathrooms products now available. Kaouther Montacer-Shivlock commented: “Virtual Worlds is a fantastic piece of kit that enables retailers to showcase a really wide choice of products and to increase sales opportunities. From a commercial perspective, not being able to visualise the finished look is often a stumbling block in the sales process. With the new Heritage Bathrooms 3D planner on Virtual Worlds, it will be much easier for the showrooms to help customers bring their dream bathroom to life. As such, we are expecting to see a much easier conversion of initial interest into actual sales”
