Using Virtual Worlds

To use Virtual Worlds, we recommend having a Windows desktop personal computer or laptop with the specifications detailed.

We do not recommend using Virtual Worlds on Apple computers using Parallels or Terminal Services due to the resources required to run these configurations.

These specifications are subject to change so please ensure you check the latest specifications before you purchase your computer.

Useful Information

Please bear in mind that Virtual Worlds, will work with older / slower hardware, but the performance may not be as satisfactory as it would on higher-end computers.

Many laptops may have the same specification as desktop computers, but they will be more expensive and may run slightly slower.

If you purchase a new computer and you have a software licence, you will need to call our support team on 01908 448899 so we can change the machine ID on your licence and assign it to your new computer.

If you have a USB dongle license, all you need to do is insert it into any USB port on the new computer.
