This release provides new features and a variety of bug fixes, highlighted below:

Virtual Worlds 7.3.80

This release provides additional features and contains a variety of bug fixes, highlighted below:

  • Introduces a revamped method of autosaving, adding rolling backups to a specific backup folder.
  • Enhances collision of dynamic hoses so that they no longer collide with external walls.
  • Various 2D diagram enhancements including improved dimension control to allow any dimension to be deleted, a new option to select units from their dimensions and a new ‘overflow’ line to tidy up smaller item dimensions.
  • Adds additional functionality to the Catalogue tab which allows a user to hide, show or uninstall catalogues.
  • Adds a new ‘Help’ tab to the Virtual Worlds start page, linking to the Virtual Worlds online help system.
  • Improves the use of manually edited textures, allowing them to be remembered and applied to other items.

Virtual Worlds 7.2.57

This release contains a variety of bug fixes and minor improvements, highlighted below:

  • Adds a 3D Tape Measure, providing the ability to measure between any two distances directly from a 3D design.
  • Speeds up various areas of the system including design saving and loading, applying tiling and generating and refreshing 2D diagrams.
  • Improves the Tip of the Day dialogue, giving a new option to view all available tips.
  • Adds additional right click options for saving tiling templates and replacing tiles within a template.
  • Adds the ability to tile in layers, allowing for designs to cater for waterproof panelling easily.
  • Fixes an issue where cut mitres were lost after a range change operation.

Virtual Worlds 7.1.103

This release contains a variety of bug fixes and minor improvements, highlighted below:

  • Adds a series of new tips to the Tip of the Day menu.
  • Adds a confirmation message when when uploading quote images to One Price.
  • Fixes an issue where generating a 2D diagram could cause a crash if Sticky Props have been placed temporarily on floor tiling.
  • Fixes an issue where older style dormer windows would not cut correctly.
  • Fixes an issue where catalogue links stopped working after editing a unit texture.
  • Fixes an issue where recessing items into angled walls or sloped ceilings could cause the recessed item to disappear.
  • Fixes an issue where, on occasion, a unit may lose its texture when opening an existing design.

Virtual Worlds 7.1.73

This release contains a variety of improvements and bug fixes, highlighted below:

  • Completes the restructure of the Sketchpad, returning functionality to one improved tab.
  • Introduces ‘Sticky Props’ which allows any item to be stuck to another. This means that prop items will now move along with any associated unit actions, as well as bespoke handles and other items.
  • Adds the ability to create ‘virtual walls’, or Sectional Views, in a 2D diagram to create a 2D Elevation of a specific area of a design.
  • Improves Schedule Number creation via a new Legend tab, making it easier to add and export reference numbers and product information from a 2D plan.
  • Adds a ‘Make Island’ option, making it much easier to control dimensions and other properties of island units.
  • Enhances the Groups and Packs utility (now called Collections) to accommodate manufacturer’s packs, ensuring they are compatible with the Virtual Worlds One Price system.
  • Enhances the 2D diagram zoom tool, adding the ability to quickly export a zoomed view of a 2D plan or elevation.

  • Improves the general use of ShowerJigs for future catalogues to ensure they resize and hide when snapped to trays automatically
  • Simplifies the cutting process, making it easier to cut a selection of units from a group
  • Improves Manual Worktops in 2D Diagrams to ensure they are part of the correct layer and display the correct product information
  • Fixes an issue where certain tile templates couldn’t be applied to window reveals
  • Fixes an issue where applying a texture to a tile template would only change a single tile

  • A major update to 2D Plans and Elevations, including the addition of custom dimension templates and a new control menu for editing diagrams
  • A re-design of the Sketchpad, ensuring a more intuitive and modern experience
  • Improvements to Cutting functionality, enabling all cutting to be performed via the right click menu
  • A new feature for reporting catalogue issues directly from an item’s right click menu
