NOTE: We do not recommend running Virtual Worlds Professional on Apple devices using Parallels or Terminal Services due to the resources required to run these configurations.

Cards for 4D Showroom must include at least 1 x HDMI 1.3 port, either a Display Port or another HDMI for output to your monitor, 4GB of system RAM and be compatible with DirectX 11.

NOTE: Windows 7 Pro, 8 Pro and 8.1 Pro are also supported but we recommend Windows 10 due to it being the latest operating system by Microsoft and therefore receiving the most updates.
- Please bear in mind that Virtual Worlds Professional, and any other software, will work with older / slower hardware, but the performance may not be as satisfactory as it would on a higher-end machine.
- Many laptops may have the same specification as desktop machines, but they will be more expensive and will run slightly slower because the components generate more heat due to less robust cooling solutions than desktops.
- Laptops cannot be upgraded in the same way that desktops can. Some modern laptops provide space for extra RAM or another disk drive, but the other hardware is always fixed so we recommend purchasing a higher-end laptop if possible.
- If you purchase a new machine and you have a software licence, you will need to call our support team on 01908 448899 so we can change the machine ID and attach it to your new computer. If you have a dongle licence, all you need to do is insert it into any USB port on the new machine.
